Account Executive (Nordics)
About The Position
About Upwind Security
Upwind is the comprehensive cloud security platform that allows organizations to protect their business-critical cloud workloads. We are scaling rapidly and looking for a world-class Account Executive to lead our expansion across the Nordics.
The Role
As the AE for the Nordics, you will be the driving force behind Upwind's growth in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Finland. You will be responsible for hunting new enterprise logos, navigating complex sales cycles, and positioning our cutting-edge security solutions to both technical leads and C-suite executives.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Growth: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to identify and generate a new business pipeline, exceed revenue targets, and win major enterprise logos.
- Executive Presence: Demonstrate a deep understanding of customer challenges to effectively position Upwind’s value proposition with C-level executives and technical stakeholders.
- Technical Collaboration: Partner closely with technical teams to ensure seamless integration and accelerate time-to-value for clients.
- Full-Cycle Execution: Lead end-to-end sales cycles with excellence—from initial qualification to the delivery of quantifiable ROI justifications.
- Channel Synergy: Build trusted relationships with Upwind’s channel partners and the broader ecosystem to optimize market reach.
- Closing: Lead contract negotiations through to successful closure and completion.
Requirements
- Proven Success: A track record of driving and closing large enterprise deals in the Nordics region.
- Domain Expertise: Ability to sell effectively to C-level and technical stakeholders within Cloud, Security, or DevOps.
- High Performance: Consistent achievement of quota/revenue targets with a strong W2 history.
- Sales Discipline: Familiarity with proven qualification methodologies (e.g., MEDDPICC) and a disciplined sales process.
- Data-Driven: Maintain accurate forecasting and reporting within Salesforce (SFDC) to provide leadership with clear business insights.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills; self-motivated and adaptable to a fast-paced startup environment.
- Knowledge: A strong understanding of cloud security concepts, technologies, and current market trends.
