About The Position

We are looking for a Senior Release Manager with 5+ years of experience to own the orchestration of our software delivery lifecycle in the cloud native domain.

In this role, you will move beyond traditional coordination to build automated, high-integrity deployment highways.

You will leverage GitOps principles to ensure our cloud-native applications are delivered with speed, safety, and auditability across multiple environments.


As a Release Manager, you will drive the end-to-end release lifecycle, ensuring alignment among teams and stakeholders. You will track and monitor release tasks across Development, QA, DevOps, and Documentation, acting as the central contact for milestone tracking and updates using tools like Slack, JIRA, and GitHub. Identifying and escalating delays, risks, or blockers for timely resolution is crucial to your role.


You will manage dependencies, resolving or escalating gaps to ensure smooth integration of incremental feature development into the main branch. Monitoring feature milestones and readiness for QA, you will communicate intermediate deliverables and coordinate the verification of deliverables merged into GitHub, with JIRA tickets linked to PRs. Ensuring successful CI/CD pipeline completion and system tests, you will escalate issues as needed and facilitate the timely creation and release of builds to QA, ensuring testing readiness.


By overseeing feature verification progress using JIRA dashboards, you will facilitate bug screening with QA, Development, Product, and Architecture teams. Executing security scans and managing vulnerabilities for compliance and release readiness are essential tasks. You will maintain and enforce compliance with predefined release criteria, compiling and reviewing release communications with stakeholders to ensure everyone is informed and aligned.


In this role, your ability to manage multiple moving parts and communicate effectively across teams will be key to ensuring successful and timely releases.


Your role orchestrates cross-functional activities to ensure smooth progression through all release milestones, from kickoff to General Availability (GA).


Your position is reporting to the Director of Operations, and working in close collaboration with Product Managers, R&D Team Leads and developers (QA, DevOps, Dev. Teams).

Requirements

Your Qualifications and Skills

  • Familiarity with FedRAMP (Moderate/High) controls, including automated evidence collection and "Compliance-as-Code (Strong advantage)
  • Experience with software build processes, version control systems, and QA workflows
  • Proficiency in software development and management tools (e.g., JIRA, GitHub, ArgoCD & Flux, CI/CD pipelines, dashboards)
  • Proven problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking abilities
  • Self-management skills with the ability to take initiative, make decisions and deliver under pressure
  • Understanding of R&D processes and best practices
  • Coding and/or scripting skills to support automation and troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of Git, ArgoCD & Flux, and monitoring/security tools
  • Ability to understand code (Strong advantage)
  • Strong multitasking capabilities and a determination to drive success
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to drive alignment across cross-functional teams
