About The Position

Field Marketing Specialist, EMEA

About The Position

We’re looking for an organized, energetic, and highly detail-oriented Field Marketing Events Specialist to join our team and support field marketing programs across EMEA.

This is a hands-on role for someone who loves bringing events and field marketing programs to life. You’ll work closely with regional sales teams, partners, and the broader global marketing organization to execute programs that engage prospects and customers, support pipeline, and strengthen Upwind’s presence across key EMEA markets.

You’ll help execute a wide range of programs, including industry conferences, executive dinners, partner events, workshops, meetups, and Upwind-hosted experiences. You’ll be involved throughout the entire event lifecycle, from venue and vendor coordination to invitations, registration, shipments, swag, onsite logistics, and post-event follow-up.

This role requires exceptional organization, attention to detail, and follow-through. The ideal candidate is resourceful, proactive, comfortable managing multiple priorities, and excited to roll up their sleeves and get things done in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and execution of field marketing programs across EMEA, including industry conferences, executive dinners, workshops, meetups, partner programs, and Upwind-hosted events.
  • Work closely with the EMEA Sr. Field Marketing Manager to coordinate event logistics, timelines, budgets, vendors, venues, registration, catering, AV, branded materials, and onsite requirements.
  • Manage event operations and logistics, including swag and collateral orders, international shipments, booth materials, show services, storage, and delivery coordination across EMEA.
  • Support onsite event execution, including setup, registration, vendor coordination, attendee experience, booth management, and teardown.
  • Partner with regional sales teams to support event recruitment, including target account lists, invitations, registration tracking, attendee communication, and sales follow-up.
  • Coordinate with partners and regional organizations on co-sponsored events, joint activations, sponsorship deliverables, and event logistics.
  • Help manage digital components supporting field programs, including event invitations, registration pages, email communications, and post-event follow-up.
  • Maintain accurate event calendars, project trackers, budgets, registration lists, program documentation, and internal communications.
  • Coordinate with Upwind’s global marketing, design, social, demand generation, and operations teams to ensure programs are executed consistently and on brand.
  • Track event attendance, engagement, costs, leads, and other program results to help measure performance and business impact.
  • Research venues, vendors, conferences, sponsorship opportunities, and local experiences across EMEA markets as needed.
  • Help identify opportunities to improve processes, event experiences, and operational efficiency as the EMEA field marketing program continues to scale.

  • Build strong working relationships with regional sales teams and become a reliable marketing partner for programs happening across EMEA.

Requirements

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in field marketing, event marketing, events, hospitality, experiential marketing, or a related role.
  • Hands-on experience coordinating events, meetings, conferences, hospitality programs, or similar experiences.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Comfortable managing multiple events, projects, deadlines, and logistics simultaneously.
  • Experience working with vendors, venues, hotels, conference organizers, or event production partners.
  • Comfortable coordinating shipments, swag, branded materials, AV, catering, registration, and other event logistics.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and confidence working with internal teams, external vendors, and partners.
  • Collaborative and comfortable working closely with sales teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Resourceful and proactive, with the ability to identify problems and help solve them quickly.
  • Comfortable taking direction while also independently owning assigned projects and tasks through completion.
  • Ability to work across different countries, cultures, and time zones within EMEA and with a global team.
  • Willingness to travel regularly across EMEA and occasionally internationally for event setup, execution, and teardown.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move boxes or event materials up to approximately 18 kg / 40 lbs as part of event setup and logistics responsibilities.

What Success Looks Like

You’re someone the team can rely on to make things happen. Details don’t fall through the cracks, vendors and internal stakeholders know what they need to do, materials arrive where they’re supposed to, and events are organized and well executed.

As you grow in the role, you’ll take on increasing ownership of programs and markets across EMEA, developing the experience and skills to independently manage larger field marketing initiatives.
