Introducing Upwind Dashboards: Simplify Security Monitoring & Reporting

We are introducing four powerful new dashboards in the Upwind platform to simplify monitoring and reporting for security executives.

These four new dashboards each offer a high-level overview of security risk, performance over time, and prioritized risk analysis to focus you on what matters most.

Home Dashboard

This dashboard is Upwind’s new home page, providing executives with an easy, clear view of their overall cloud risk and security posture.

In the Home Dashboard, security leaders can easily get a quick overview of cloud assets, open issues by severity, and detailed breakdowns by finding type. Track security performance over time with metrics like issue trends (new vs. resolved) and open issues by timeframe.

Identities Dashboard

The Identities Dashboard delivers insights into human and non-human identities, highlighting critical risks such as overly privileged accounts and exposed secrets.

This dashboard additionally provides insights into highly privileged identities across cloud environments, as well as exposed secrets. Using this dashboard, security leaders can quickly identify privileged identities across environments, assess risks, and uncover exposed secrets or credentials.

External Exposure Dashboard

The External Exposure Dashboard pinpoints internet-facing vulnerabilities across exposed assets, open management ports, serverless functions, databases, and object storage.

Security leaders can track progress in reducing exposure, make data-driven decisions, and clearly communicate security posture to stakeholders. Teams can prioritize the most critical internet-exposed attack paths for immediate remediation.

Vulnerability Dashboard

The Vulnerability Dashboard provides a clear overview of critical vulnerabilities and their trends  over time.

See prioritized insights into vulnerabilities by severity, track CVE counts, and assess impact across Kubernetes workloads, scaling groups, and hosts.

The Vulnerability Dashboard also enables leaders to monitor trends, including new vs. resolved vulnerabilities and exposure levels by workload type, helping teams measure and improve their remediation efforts. .

Conclusion

Upwind’s dashboards provide security leaders with a single view of cloud security risks, performance trends, and prioritized insights to drive action. By simplifying monitoring and reporting, these tools help organizations track progress and communicate value clearly.

Everyone Read the OpenAI Breach as a Model Story, But It Was a Runtime Story

Key Takeaways Autonomous AI agents can now break out of a sandbox, cross an internal network, and breach a production system with no human at the keyboard. OpenAI's evaluation that hacked Hugging Face this month is the clearest proof on record. Most of the coverage read it as a story about a model turning dangerous.…

Introducing the Upwind Identity Graph: End-to-End Identity Security

Identity used to be treated as a directory problem: find the user, inspect the groups, review the assigned roles, and decide whether the account has too much access. That model no longer matches the cloud. A single person may authenticate through Okta, inherit permissions from multiple groups, receive role assignments in more than one cloud,…

Introducing the Upwind AI Graph: Extending AI Inventory Beyond Cloud Infrastructure

As enterprise adoption of artificial intelligence accelerates, modern AI infrastructure has expanded far beyond traditional cloud perimeters. Securing enterprise AI today requires complete visibility across four distinct operational layers: Traditional cloud security tools stop at the cloud provider boundary. When enterprise teams connect directly to external AI Providers, security teams lose sight of access paths,…
