The Upwind Cloud Security Platform is now available in the EC2 Image Builder on AWS


December 4, 2024 — Upwind, the next-generation cloud security platform, announced today that the Upwind Cloud Security Platform is available as a software component in the EC2 Image Builder console of Amazon Web Services (AWS). EC2 Image Builder is a fully-managed service that simplifies the customization, testing, distribution, and lifecycle management of Amazon Machine Images (AMIs) and container images. Customers can now seamlessly add Upwind to their EC2 Image Builder recipes.

Upwind’s availability in the EC2 Image Builder console reinforces Upwind’s commitment to and leadership in equipping customers with a foundation of services they can access, trust, and act on to achieve successful outcomes. Customers can find and subscribe to Upwind directly in the EC2 Image Builder console or in AWS Marketplace, a curated digital storefront that makes it easy to find, buy, deploy, and manage solutions from AWS Partners that run on AWS.

Customers can also add and manage Upwind in their EC2 Image Builder recipes to create golden images and configure the EC2 Image Builder to automatically update golden images with the latest version of Upwind in AWS Marketplace, helping improve reliability and reduce maintenance efforts.
